''Curious George'' is an American animated series based on the characters from the children's books by Margret Rey and Hans August Rey. Co-produced by Imagine Entertainment, WGBH Boston and Universal Animation Studios, it was created for children aged three to five with the aim of introducing them to the world of science, engineering and mathematics. The series follows the adventures of George, a curious little monkey, and the man with the yellow hat. The writers set their stories in both a house in the city and one in the countryside, using both settings to address issues related to STEM subjects. Through George's stories, children can identify with and assimilate the basic notions of these subjects in a fun and engaging way. Each episode is divided into two parts of approximately ten minutes each, offering a series of short adventures but full of teachings.
